After the Bradford Boil
With recent political events both within and outside the UK, the Asian community in Britain once again finds itself pushed to the forefront. They have something to say and they are not afraid of saying it. For better or for worse, this has led to the new wave of conflict both within the community, and between its non-Asian counterparts.
The story however in many is the old one and it is this irony that Serendip the first ever Pakistani company at Yorkshire Television ven-tures to expose through its six part series- “(After the Bradford Boil)”.It tells tales of today looking into the future of families and culture, por-treying Yorkshire as the buzzing hub of the Asian community an it struggles to forge its forge its own identity and yet integrate itself into the fabric of all that ids “British”.
